Rendix

Vercel integration.

Last updated September 20, 2026

The integration connects a Vercel project to Traffic - Crawlers in Rendix, so every request an AI or search crawler makes to your site arrives with its HTTP status.

Requirements

  • A Rendix account with a brand whose domain is served by a Vercel project.
  • A Vercel Pro or Enterprise plan - Vercel offers drains on these plans only and bills them at $0.50 per GB.

Install

  • In Rendix open Traffic - Crawlers - Sources and press Connect Vercel.
  • Vercel asks you to choose the account or team and to approve the requested access.
  • Rendix finds the project that serves your brand's domain and creates one log drain for it. If no project matches, you pick the project in Sources.

Access requested

  • Projects, read - to list projects and their domains and find the one that serves your site.
  • Drains, read and write - to create the log drain and to delete it when you disconnect.
  • Integration Configuration, read - the installation record itself.

What is created in your Vercel account

One log drain named “Rendix crawlers” followed by your domain: production environment, NDJSON over HTTPS to the Rendix receiver, authenticated with a bearer token and a signing secret generated for your connection. No environment variables are added and no deployments are touched.

What Rendix keeps

The receiver keeps only log lines whose user agent belongs to a known crawler, and only for your brand's host. For each it stores the host, path without the query string, crawler name, user agent, IP address, HTTP status and time. Every other log line is dropped on receipt and never stored.

The Vercel access token is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and is never sent to the browser.

Disconnect

Press Disconnect on the connection in Sources. Rendix deletes the drain at Vercel and removes the connection with its stored token. You can also remove the integration from your Vercel dashboard at any time.
